The Use of Pareto Analysis in Streamlining Sales

This diploma thesis deals with the employment of the Pareto principle in increasing the efficiency of the product range in a selected grocery outlet of the Brněnka chain. A methodology for the evalution of the offered product range has been created based on general knowledge and practical usage of the Pareto principle in scientific work. The methodology is applied on sale records of a selected store. The work includes suggestions of product range alteration based on application of the formed methodology.

This bachelor thesis deals with a topic of product range analysis of the American footwear company Skechers. The first part is theoretical and is devoted to the methods which focus on analyzing the product range and the product mix of the company. The second part is practical and is devoted to the company´s product range itself. With the help of the internal data of Skechers, the author uses the analysis of sales volume and revenues to determine the strong and weak sides of the company´s product range and also suggests the possible solutions for the weaknesses as well as the possibilites for the future development of Skechers mainly in the Czech Republic.
Product range analysis of Opel Southeast Europe LLC.

The thesis is devoted to product range analysis of Opel Southeast Europe LLC. This paper is focused on Czech and Slovak market. In the first part, author starts with theoretical base, which is followed by a practical part. The next part includes a description of company, analysis of micro and macro environment through Porter's five forces analysis and PESTEL analysis. There is also a description of various Opel models, which are further analyzed in terms of competitive comparison, segment analysis, in which models are offered and price comparison. This part is followed by a summary of major findings arising from analysis of the company's range. At the end of the practical part there is a brief proposal to locate offers that could help increase sales on mentioned markets.

Product range analysis of Decodom company

The thesis deals with the Slovak furniture company Decodom s.r.o which manufactures and sells, kitchen, living room, bedroom and sector furniture. The author based his thesis on the marketing mix theory -- the product, its innovation and life cycle. With the help of the analysis of the product range, the thesis examines if the innovations are an adequate part of the strategy to dampen the impact of the economic crisis on the company and it's prosperity. The thesis highlights the importance of innovation in the manufacture and sale of furniture. The bachelor's thesis deals with a certain part of the product range -- planned (pre-made) kitchens from the Decoplan product line.
